Dr. Sara Vizcarra has completed continuing education courses to treat the entire body through cosmetic dentistry, TMD treatment, snoring and sleep apnea therapy, implant restorations, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry. Dr. Sara works with the latest advancements in technology and procedures with state-of-the-art diagnostics.

Dr. Sara is a graduate of the University of Missouri, School of Dentistry in Kansas City. After graduation, she practiced privately in public health providing dental care to the underserved population of rural Missouri before finding her way to Arizona. Once she was in Arizona, Dr. Sara rooted herself and found Pinnacle Family Dentistry as her new dental home. While treating patients at Pinnacle Peak Family Dentistry, Dr. Sara completed continuing education courses and lectures in the areas of TMD, Craniofacial Pain, Headaches, Snoring and Sleep Apnea to continue to advance her services.

Currently, Dr. Sara volunteers to provide dental care to underserved children and adults in our community. She has also traveled to Central and South America to provide dental services to people in need. Recently, Dr. Sara’s dedication to patients suffering from TMJ disorders and sleep apnea allows her to diagnose and treat patients unaware of their symptoms and conditions. Through her experience in advanced dentistry, Dr. Sara became part of the American Board of Craniofacial and Dental Sleep Medicine as a Diplomate. She is also Board certified by the ABCP (American Board of Craniofacial Pain), and maintains multiple residencies with the AACP, and UCLA. Additionally, Dr. Sara has completed advanced studies with T&S International, Neirman Group, University of Tennessee and Dr. Mayoor Patel.

Outside of her work as a dentist here in North Scottsdale, Dr. Sara is a proud mother to her son Luis. She enjoys being active by jogging, hiking, salsa dancing and yoga. Even more so, she loves spending time with her family. She enjoys mentoring the new and upcoming Dental Professionals by “paying it forward”. Dr. Sara is always on a continuous thirst for education, from continuing education courses to collaborating with other dental professionals.
